Your Team and Role

Our Financial Crime Team work hard to protect us against Money Laundering, terrorist financing and the risk of bribery and corruption. As such we’re now looking for someone to manage and develop this highly specialised team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and developing a productive and highly motivated team of Financial Crime Officers
• Having oversight of the PEP and Sanctions screening function, ensuring SLAs are met and that matches are reported appropriately
• As an SME you’ll deputise for the Money Laundering Nominated Officer as and when required
• Managing the transactional monitoring rules, making recommendations and enhancements where necessary
• Manage all communications and enquiries with law enforcement agencies adhering to guidelines, response times and internal service level agreements

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced professional from a Financial Crime background who is interested in working in a dynamic and fast paced team. You’ll be someone interested in driving a culture of continual improvement. To be successful in this role you will specifically possess

• You’ll have a sound understanding of Financial Crime legislation
• You’ll have understanding of CIFAS rules, different fraud types, Visa rules and regulations and chargeback processes, the disputes process (including Section 75), The Consumer Credit Act, The Fraud Act, PACE, POCA, Money Laundering Regulations, NCA and The Theft Act
