Effective administrative support and governance are essential to the success of our Trust, and our team of PAs are crucial in ensuring the Executive Team and Directors can efficiently fulfil their positions. Leigh Academies Trust is a multi-academy trust (MAT) which is currently comprised of primary, secondary and special needs academies across South East London and Kent, educating over 15,000 students on a daily basis.

We have an exciting new vacancy for a PA to Education Director / Governance Officer to join us in June 2019 on a maternity cover basis (until approximately March 2020). As a member of the Trust’s central team, our appointed candidate will be based from our Head Office in Rochester, Kent. The overarching purpose of this role is to provide a high-level of support to the Education Director and to support the Trust office in a positive and proactive way demonstrating a high level of initiative, competence and confidentiality across a broad range of office management activities. The successful candidate must be able to work to a highly professional and organised standard. The successful applicant will also have a genuine interest in school governance, ensuring they keep abreast with current educational developments and legislation affecting schools.
