Mid to Senior level Design Managers required on a temporary basis - Kent - Competitive rates

Your new company

My Client is a leading main contractor in the construction industry, they operate across a range of sectors including; education, health, housing, industrials amongst others. They have a national presence but utilise their regional offices to take advantage of leading, complex and advantageous projects in these areas. Over the next 3 years they have a clear strategy to take their annual turnover from £50 million - £80 million, where project values range from £750k - £20 million. They are looking for a Design Manager to help lead the design and architecture team in their upcoming projects and to grow alongside the company.

Your new role

You will be responsible for carrying out site inspections, partaking in both Design and Engineering meetings, liaising with clients, providing detailed design work and implementing the Design teams work onto site.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have proven experience working as a Design Manager previously, or a similar role within a Main Contractor company. You will have good understanding of the design and building process. You will need to be AutoCAD or Revit proficient and have understanding of BIM software.
