Horticultural Gardener for Organic Kitchen Garden

Historic Oxon Hoath Country Estate Retreat requires an enthusiastic gardener to help run our Georgian Walled Garden which has full organic status.

Ideally, applicants will have some experience in kitchen gardening/horticulture and a strong interest in the principles of organic gardening. This is a very hands-on role and requires a good level of physical fitness and a strong work ethic to produce year-round fruit and vegetables for the Retreat.

Good communication skills and an affable nature are required to show guests round the garden from time to time and liaise with the chef and other senior house staff. This is a very rare opportunity for a dedicated gardener looking to acquire a part-time position in a very charismatic estate with a friendly atmosphere. Some weekend work is required and your own transport is essential.
