Lettings Facilitators

£10.00 per hour

Rochester, Kent

The Leigh Academies Trust

About the role: Nearly all academies across LAT hire out their fantastic on-site facilities which are used for sports and event hirings of an evening and at weekends. With five academies recently joining our Trust, all of which being located on the Hoo Peninsula, we now have a great opportunity to appoint Lettings Facilitators who will be responsible for opening the site for the hirings/events, meeting and greeting visitors, assisting them with any queries, administration duties, decoration of the building, and locking the premises at the end of the hiring/event. Our successful candidates will predominantly cover the hirings booked for Saturdays and Sundays, but you may also be required to provide support during evenings in the week, therefore we need candidates who can be flexible, reliable and professional. Rest assured that definitive hours will be agreed well in advance and can be discussed during the interview.

This is an ideal opportunity for those of you seeking a part-time work opportunity which fits around other commitments that you may have.

Our successful candidates will be based at The Hundred of Hoo Academy in Rochester most of the time, but the ability to travel to and from three local primary sites is also essential as we may hold future events there which you'll be required to cover. The postcodes for the three additional sites are; ME3 9HR, ME3 9SL and ME3 8TF.

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: Being part of a successful multi-academy trust allows the academy to share best practice and collaborate with colleagues from a number of other schools in the local area. As part of the 'cluster' structure, all of our academies are grouped together in key geographical area to enable them to be able to support each other and share resources. It also offers staff access to career opportunities within the Trust allowing them to progress their career without switching employers. For more information on working for the Trust please visit our careers pages.

Diversity at our core: As a Trust, we are passionate about diversity and recognise that as individuals we all bring something unique to the role regardless of age, gender, race, beliefs or disabilities which is why we treat all of our people equally, without compromise.

The Academy is committed to safeguarding children and successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check. Our commitment to safeguarding is underpinned by robust processes and checks which are in place across the Trust.
