We are seeking to recruit an ECS Coordinator to join our Economy and Community Services Team, on a fixed term contract for one year. This is a full time position working 37 hours per week or possible job share opportunity.

Working in a compact and friendly team, the main duties of the role will be to manage the Community Grant Schemes and maintain Visit Swale and Swale Means Business Websites. The post holder will also provide ECS admin support, PA support to the Head of Housing, Economy & Community Services and will manage and maintain the ECS webpages.

The post holder will be expected to provide project management and administrative support to the team, and so good project management and organisational skills are essential. You will provide friendly and efficient front line services to partners, internal officers and elected members both in person, in writing and over the telephone; it is therefore essential that the successful candidate has good communication skills, both written and verbal with a diverse range of people.

In order to fill the requirements of the post, you must be educated to ‘A Level’ standard or equivalent or have at least 2 years relevant experience. You will have excellent administrative and IT skills and as well as good report writing skills. The ability to work as part of a team is essential, and so good relationship building skills are key.

The Council considers that all roles should be able to communicate clearly and concisely.

This is a full time position on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
