Background of department/role The UK Partnerships and Apprenticeships Unit (UKPAU) is located within the Directorate of the Senior Pro Vice-Chancellor for esearch, Enterprise, and Business Development. The department provides leadership, support and advice for UK partnerships and apprenticeships provision. Furthermore, it oversees the process of UK partnerships (and apprenticeships) onboarding, development and delivery and supports the development and delivery of the university’s Partnerships Strategy through its oversight of the Framework for Partnership Development. We currently have students studying our franchised or validated courses with 16 UK partner institutions, 2 of which are consortia made up of multiple FE (Further Education) colleges, and 5 of which are commercial colleges.
